CUTTING SYSTEM

The front cutting deck maximises visibility and work control. The grass is not trampled therefore cut quality is increased. The extreme manoeuvrability makes it possible to reach the areas that are less accessible for common front decks, making finishing operations around trees, flower beds and walls easier. The deck is equipped with two retractable blades that absorb collisions and safeguard the transmission from any impact with foreign objects present on the lawn. Installed on a cart with full rubber anti-puncture wheels, the cutting deck floats and naturally adapts to the terrain, resulting in a cut that is always accurate.

DIRECT CUT AND COLLECTION

Theopposite rotation blades are equipped with a shovelling system that give the grass a strong aerodynamic thrust and channel it directly into the grasscatcher through a collection tube shaped and designed to support the parabolic trajectory of the cut grass flow.
The collection tube is equipped with a hatch that can be opened to make inspection and cleaning easier.

ENGINES

The GTR features a professional 21 HP petrol twin-cylinder engine designed for industrial applications and to deliver optimum performance even in the most demanding conditions.

The large 19 litre fuel tank allows for longer work periods without refuelling and is equipped with a convenient fuel level gauge. The double air filtering element and the forced oil lubrication system extend engine protection and life cycle, while the over head valves (OHV) reduce vibrations, emission and have better fuel economy.

TRACTION AND MANOEUVRABILITY

The steering mechanisms is light, precise, solid and sturdy, made with rack and pinion and with steering shaft on the rear wheels.
The 2WD traction on the front wheels ensures optimal manoeuvrability thanks to a very tight turning radius. The rear oscillating axle is mounted on ball-bearings and is made from a press-forged steel single block in order achieve maximum solidity.
The low centre of gravity and the weight distribution ratio on the axis provide further manoeuvring comfort, in order to provide a simple and pleasant driving experience.

GRASSCATCHER

The large 280 litre Grasscatcher is a black mesh bag treated with an anti-UV additive on a steel tubular frame. The standard issue audible buzzer warning advises the operator to disengage the PTO when the Grasscatcher is full, thus preventing the obstruction or clogging of the collection chute. The Grasscatcher emptying process is servo-assisted by a gas spring that at a minimum reduces strain on the operator. Comfortably from the driving position, the grass emptying grasscatcher is activated using the lever on the right.
An (optional) electrical emptying system is available and can be activated by simply pressing a button. The bottom of the Grasscatcher can be easily removed for cut with rear discharge.

DRIVER’S SEAT
The driver’s seat of the GTM and GTR has been designed to offer maximum ergonomics and comfort in use.
  • The STANDARD SEAT is full suspension and can be adjusted lengthwise; the high backrest, with a hard plastic framework and comfortable embracing padding, allow operators to work on this machine without tiring
  • The ergonomic STEERING WHEEL with a soft grip and knob

HYDROSTATIC TRANSMISSION

The power transmission to the wheels is obtained through a reinforced heavy duty type hydrostatic axle.
A 5 mm thick steel sump guard protects it from possible collision with kerbs, rocks, roots and other bulky objects that may be found in work areas.  A single pedal, quick and intuitive, controls forward and reverse movement for practical use.
An adjustable system with damper and contrast spring damps the braking in order to guarantee comfort for the operator when changing direction and braking.
